³⁵ And when they had crucified him, ^(A)they divided his garments among them by casting lots.

²⁴ And they crucified him and ^(A)divided his garments among them, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take.

³⁴ And Jesus said, “Father, ^(A)forgive them, ^(B)for they know not what they do.”^[a] And they cast lots ^(C)to divide his garments.

²⁴ so they said to one another, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see whose it shall be.” ^(A)This was to fulfill the Scripture which says,
