⁴²Jesus asked them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

‘The [very] ^[a]Stone which the builders rejected and threw away,
Has become the chief Cornerstone;
This is the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous and wonderful in our eyes’?^(A)
