²⁴ And again I say to you, ^(A)it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

³¹ Which of the two did the will of his father?” They *said, “The first.” Jesus *said to them, “Truly I say to you that ^(A)the tax collectors and prostitutes ^[a]will get into the kingdom of God before you.

⁴⁷ And ^(A)if your eye is causing you to sin, throw it away; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be thrown into ^[a](B)hell,

¹⁴ But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not ^[a]forbid them, ^(A)for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

⁵ Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of ^(A)water and the Spirit, he cannot enter ^(B)the kingdom of God.
