The Reward of Service

⁴⁰ “^(A)He who receives you receives Me, and ^(B)he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.

³⁷ “^(A)Whoever receives ^[a]one child like this in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me.”

⁴⁸ and said to them, “^(A)Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; ^(B)for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)he who receives anyone I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

¹⁴ and that which was a ^[a]trial to you in my ^[b]bodily condition you did not despise or ^[c]loathe, but ^(A)you received me as an angel of God, as ^(B)Christ Jesus Himself.
