³⁶When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,^(A) because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.^(B)

³⁶But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

³⁴Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

³⁴So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
