²⁵ Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

²⁶ But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then ^(A)He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

³³ who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, ^(A)stopped the mouths of lions, ^34 (B)quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. ^35 (C)Women received their dead raised to life again.

Others were ^(D)tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

²³ Jesus said to him, ^(A)“If^[a] you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

²⁴ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; ^(B)help my unbelief!”

²⁵ When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He ^(C)rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

²⁷ Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and ^(A)reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be ^(B)unbelieving, but believing.”
