Matthew 4:6-8
New King James Version
6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:
(A)‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’
and,
(B)‘In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”
7 Jesus said to him, “It is written again, (C)‘You shall not [a]tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and (D)showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[a]”(B)
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[b]”(C)
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
