He Is Risen^(A)

28 Now ^(B)after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene ^(C)and the other Mary came to see the tomb. ²And behold, there was a great earthquake; for ^(D)an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone ^[a]from the door, and sat on it. ³^(E)His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. ⁴And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like ^(F)dead men.

⁵But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶He is not here; for He is risen, ^(G)as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. ⁷And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed ^(H)He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

40 In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after ^(A)the city was ^[a]captured, on the very same day ^(B)the hand of the Lord was upon me; and He took me there. ²^(C)In the visions of God He took me into the land of Israel and ^(D)set me on a very high mountain; on it toward the south was something like the structure of a city. ³He took me there, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was ^(E)like the appearance of bronze. ^(F)He had a line of flax ^(G)and a measuring rod in his hand, and he stood in the gateway.

⁴And the man said to me, ^(H)“Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and ^[b]fix your mind on everything I show you; for you were brought here so that I might show them to you. ^(I)Declare to the house of Israel everything you see.”
