⁵¹And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

New International Version

⁵¹At that moment the curtain of the temple^(A) was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split^(B)

⁵²And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

⁵²and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
