³⁰And ^(A)they spit on Him, and took the reed and beat Him on the head.

³⁰They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.^(A)

³⁰And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

³⁴And they will mock Him and ^(A)spit on Him, and flog Him and kill Him; and three days later He will rise from the dead.”

³⁴who will mock him and spit on him, flog him^(A) and kill him.^(B) Three days later^(C) he will rise.”^(D)

³⁴And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
