21 For then there will be a (A)great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will again. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no [a]life would have been saved; but for (B)the sake of the [b]elect those days will be cut short. 23 (C)Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the [c]Christ,’ or ‘He is over here,’ do not believe him. 24 For false christs and (D)false prophets will arise and will provide great [d](E)signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even (F)the [e]elect. 25 Behold, I have told you in advance. 26 So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. 27 (G)For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the (H)coming of the (I)Son of Man [f]be. 28 (J)Wherever the corpse is, there the [g]vultures will gather.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning(E) that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming(F) of the Son of Man.(G) 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.(H)
