⁴¹ They said to him, ^(A)“He will put those wretches to a miserable death and ^(B)let out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”

⁴² Jesus said to them, ^(C)“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

⁴³ Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God ^(E)will be taken away from you and given to a people ^(F)producing its fruits.

¹⁰ let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that ^(A)by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, ^(B)whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. ^11 (C)This Jesus^[a] is the stone that was ^(D)rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.^{[b] 12} And there is ^(E)salvation ^(F)in no one else, for ^(G)there is no other ^(H)name under heaven given among men^[c] by which we must be saved.”

¹⁹ So then you are no longer ^(A)strangers and aliens,^[a] but you are ^(B)fellow citizens with the saints and ^(C)members of the household of God, ^20 (D)built on the foundation of the ^(E)apostles and prophets, ^(F)Christ Jesus himself being ^(G)the cornerstone, ^21 (H)in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into ^(I)a holy temple in the Lord.

⁶ For it stands in Scripture:

⁷ So the honor is for you who ^(C)believe, but for those who ^(D)do not believe,

⁸ and

They stumble because they disobey the word, ^(G)as they were destined to do.
