24 (B)Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and (C)follow Me. 25 For (D)whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what (E)profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or (F)what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.(A) 25 For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.(B) 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
