For God So Loved the World

¹⁶ “For ^(A)God so loved ^(B)the world,^{[a] (C)}that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(D)perish but have eternal life.

^23 (A)For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁹ But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

⁵⁴ When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

That You May Know

¹³ I write ^(A)these things to you who ^(B)believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. ¹⁴ And this is ^(C)the confidence that we have toward him, that ^(D)if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
