³⁴ Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.^(A)

²⁶ “Just as it was in the days of Noah,^(A) so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

⁵ But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word^(A) the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.^{(B) 6} By these waters also the world of that time^(C) was deluged and destroyed.^(D)
