²⁴ But He answered and said, “I was sent only to ^(A)the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

^5 (A)These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them, saying, “Do not go on a road ^[a]to Gentiles, and do not enter a city of ^(B)Samaritans; ⁶ but rather go to ^(C)the lost sheep of the house of Israel. ⁷ And as you go, ^[b]preach, saying, ‘^(D)The kingdom of heaven ^[c]has come near.’

Peter’s Sermon

¹⁴ But Peter, taking his stand with ^(A)the other eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, ^[a]know this, and pay attention to my words.

²² “Men of Israel, listen to these words: ^(A)Jesus the Nazarene, ^(B)a Man ^[a]attested to you by God with ^[b]miracles and ^(C)wonders and ^[c]signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

³⁶ Therefore let all the ^(A)house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both ^(B)Lord and ^[a]Christ—this Jesus ^(C)whom you crucified.”
