³⁵ And one of them, ^[a](A)a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him:

^41 (A)Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question:

^46 (A)No one was able to offer Him a word in answer, nor did anyone dare from that day on to ask Him any more questions.

^33 (A)They came to Capernaum; and when He was in ^(B)the house, He began to question them: “What were you discussing on the way?”

² And some Pharisees came up to Jesus, testing Him, and began questioning Him whether it was lawful for a man to ^[a]divorce his wife.

²⁹ But Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

⁵³ When He left that place, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be very hostile and to interrogate Him about many subjects,

³ But He replied to them, “I will also ask you a ^[a]question, and you tell Me:

⁴⁰ For ^(A)they did not have the courage to question Him any longer about anything.

⁶⁸ and if I ask a question, you will not answer.
