¹⁰ For Moses said, ^(A)‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ^(B)‘Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’ ¹¹ But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban”’ (that is, given to God)^[a]— ¹² then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother,

⁵¹ And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And ^(A)his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.

⁵² And Jesus ^(A)increased in wisdom and in stature^[a] and in ^(B)favor with God and man.

¹⁹ Husbands, love your wives, and ^(A)do not be harsh with them. ²⁰ Children, obey your parents ^(B)in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
