Jesus Rejected at Nazareth(A)

Then (B)He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were (C)astonished, saying, (D)“Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and (E)brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they (F)were offended at Him.

13 Now therefore, I pray, (A)if I have found grace in Your sight, (B)show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is (C)Your people.”

14 And He said, (D)“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you (E)rest.”

15 Then he said to Him, (F)“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, (G)except You go with us? So we (H)shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”

17 So the Lord said to Moses, (I)“I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”
