³⁶ And Simon and those who were with Him searched for Him.

²² Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, ^[a]“Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

⁴ Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, ^[a]let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

³³ Peter answered and said to Him, “Even if all are ^[a]made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.”

⁵⁸ But ^(A)Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest’s courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end.

^12 (A)But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths ^[a]lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

⁷ Therefore ^(A)that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.

²⁹ So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and ^(A)the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” ^(B)And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
