Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry^(A)

^14 (B)Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, ^(C)preaching the gospel ^[a]of the kingdom of God, ¹⁵ and saying, ^(D)“The time is fulfilled, and ^(E)the kingdom of God ^[b]is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

² and saying, “Repent, for ^(A)the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

^4 (A)John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance ^[a]for the remission of sins.

^3 (A)And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance ^(B)for the remission of sins,
