Mark 11:18-20

18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it and (A)were seeking a way to destroy him, for they feared him, because (B)all the crowd was astonished at his teaching. 19 (C)And when evening came they[a] went out of the city.

20 (D)As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots.

18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him,(A) because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.(B)
19 When evening came, Jesus and his disciples[a] went out of the city.(C)
20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
