²¹ But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these ^(A)who hear the word of God and do it.”

²⁸ But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are ^(A)those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

^7 (A)And the word of God kept on spreading, and ^(B)the number of the disciples continued to multiply greatly in Jerusalem, and a great ^[a]many of the priests were becoming obedient to ^(C)the faith.

⁵ And when they reached Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in ^(A)the synagogues of the Jews, and they also had ^(B)John as their helper. ⁶ And when they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they found a ^(C)magician, a Jewish ^(D)false prophet whose name was Bar-Jesus, ⁷ who was with the ^(E)proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence. This man summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.

¹⁷ also receive ^(A)the helmet of salvation, and the ^(B)sword of the Spirit, which is ^(C)the word of God,

¹² For ^(A)the word of God is ^(B)living and ^(C)active and sharper than any two-edged ^(D)sword, and piercing as far as the division of ^(E)soul and ^(F)spirit, of both joints and marrow, and ^(G)able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

⁷ Remember your ^(A)leaders, who spoke ^(B)the word of God to you; and considering the ^[a]result of their conduct, ^(C)imitate their faith.

²³ for you have been ^(A)born again ^(B)not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, that is, through the living and enduring ^(C)word of God.

² who bore witness to ^(A)the word of God and to ^(B)the witness of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.
