¹³ Now when the devil had ended every ^[a]temptation, he departed from Him ^(A)until an opportune time.

Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry^(B)

^14 (C)Then Jesus returned ^(D)in the power of the Spirit to ^(E)Galilee, and ^(F)news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. ¹⁵ And He ^(G)taught in their synagogues, ^(H)being glorified by all.

Jesus Rejected at Nazareth^(I)

¹⁶ So He came to ^(J)Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, ^(K)He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
