49 While[a] he was still speaking, someone came from the synagogue ruler’s house, saying, “Your daughter is dead! Trouble the Teacher no longer!” 50 But Jesus, when he[b] heard this,[c] replied to him, “Do not be afraid! Only believe, and she will be healed.” 51 Now when he[d] came to the house, he did not allow anyone to enter with him except Peter and John and James and the father and mother of the child.

50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James,(B) and the child’s father and mother.
