49 While he was still speaking, someone came from the synagogue leader’s home[a] and told him,[b] “Your daughter is dead. Stop bothering the teacher anymore.”
50 But when Jesus heard this, he told the synagogue leader,[c] “Stop being afraid! Just believe, and she will get well.”
51 When he arrived at the man’s[d] house, he allowed no one to go in with him except Peter, John, James, and the young girl’s father and mother.

49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.(A) “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”
50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James,(B) and the child’s father and mother.
