31 And their eyes were opened and they knew Him. Then He left them and could not be seen. 32 They said to each other, “Were not our hearts filled with joy when He talked to us on the road about what the Holy Writings said?”
33 Then they got up at once and went back to Jerusalem. They found the eleven followers together and others with them.

31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him,(A) and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us(B) while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures(C) to us?”
33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together
