Luke 2:23-25
English Standard Version
23 (as it is written in (A)the Law of the Lord, (B)“Every male who first opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”) 24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in (C)the Law of the Lord, (D)“a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.” 25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was (E)righteous and (F)devout, (G)waiting for (H)the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”[a]),(A) 24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”[b](B)
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout.(C) He was waiting for the consolation of Israel,(D) and the Holy Spirit was on him.
