14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For (A)everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

15 (B)Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they (C)rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to him, saying, (D)“Let the children come to me, and (E)do not hinder them, (F)for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 17 (G)Truly, I say to you, whoever does not (H)receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child(C) will never enter it.”
