(H)Then (I)Satan entered into (J)Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. He went away and conferred with the chief priests and (K)officers how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he consented and sought an opportunity to (L)betray him to them in the absence of a crowd.

The Passover with the Disciples

(M)Then came (N)the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. So Jesus[a] sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it.” They said to him, “Where will you have us prepare it?” 10 He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters 11 and tell the master of the house, (O)‘The Teacher says to you, Where is (P)the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 And he will show you (Q)a large upper room furnished; prepare it there.” 13 And they went and found it (R)just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

The Lord God has given (A)me
    the tongue of those who are taught,
that (B)I may know how to sustain with a word
    (C)him who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
    he awakens my ear
    to hear as those who are taught.
(D)The Lord God has opened my ear,
    (E)and I was not rebellious;
    I turned not backward.
(F)I gave my back to those who strike,
    and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard;
I hid not my face
    from disgrace and spitting.

But the Lord God helps me;
    therefore I have not been disgraced;
(G)therefore I have set my face like a flint,
    and I know that I shall not be put to shame.
    (H)He who vindicates me is near.
Who will contend with me?
    Let us stand up together.
Who is my adversary?
    Let him come near to me.
(I)Behold, the Lord God helps me;
    who will declare me guilty?
Behold, all of them will wear out like a garment;
    the moth will eat them up.
