25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin with his finger and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering and shall pour out its blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering;

26 and he shall burn all its fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace; thus shall the priest reconcile him as concerning his sin, and he shall have forgiveness.

27 ¶ And if any one of the people of the land sins through ignorance, by doing something against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and is guilty,

25 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar(A) of burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.(B) 26 He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement(C) for the leader’s sin, and he will be forgiven.(D)
