Lamentations 3:42-44

⁴² “We have sinned and rebelled^(A)
    and you have not forgiven.^(B)

⁴³ “You have covered yourself with anger and pursued^(C) us;
    you have slain without pity.^(D)
44 You have covered yourself with a cloud^(E)
    so that no prayer^(F) can get through.^(G)
