Lamentations 3:24-26

²⁴I say: The Lord is my portion,^(A)
therefore I will put my hope in Him.

²⁵The Lord is good to those who wait^(B) for Him,
to the person who seeks Him.
²⁶It is good to wait quietly^(C)
for deliverance from the Lord.^(D)

²⁵The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

²⁶It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
