20 She said, “Samson, the Philistines are attacking!” Samson woke up. He thought, “I’ll get out of this as usual and shake myself free.” (He didn’t realize that Yahweh had left him.) 21 The Philistines grabbed him. They poked out his eyes and took him to the prison in Gaza. They tied him up with double chains and made him grind grain in the mill there.
22 But his hair started to grow back as soon as it was shaved off.

20 Then she called, “Samson, the Philistines are upon you!”(A)
He awoke from his sleep and thought, “I’ll go out as before and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had left him.(B)
21 Then the Philistines(C) seized him, gouged out his eyes(D) and took him down to Gaza.(E) Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain(F) in the prison. 22 But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.
