¹⁷ So the Israelites set out and reached the Gibeonite cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, Chephirah, Beeroth, and Kiriath-jearim.^(A)

⁵ So David assembled all Israel,^(A) from the Shihor of Egypt to the entrance of Hamath,^[a](B) to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.^{(C) 6} David^(D) and all Israel went to Baalah^(E) (that is, Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah) to take the ark of God from there, which is called by the name of the Lord who dwells between the cherubim.^(F)

⁴ Now David had brought the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the place^[a] he had set up for it, because he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem,^(A)

The Prophet Uriah

²⁰ Another man was also prophesying in the name of Yahweh—Uriah son of Shemaiah from Kiriath-jearim.^(A) He prophesied against this city and against this land in words like all those of Jeremiah.
