5 The Lord your God will force them back on your account and drive them out before you so that you can take possession of their land,(A) as the Lord your God promised you.
6 “Be very strong(B) and continue obeying all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, so that you do not turn from it to the right or left 7 and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them;(C) do not worship them or bow down to them.

5 The Lord your God himself will push them out(A) for your sake. He will drive them out(B) before you, and you will take possession of their land, as the Lord your God promised you.(C)
6 “Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law(D) of Moses, without turning aside(E) to the right or to the left.(F) 7 Do not associate with these nations that remain among you; do not invoke the names of their gods or swear(G) by them. You must not serve them or bow down(H) to them.
