5 And the Lord your God shall expel [a]them before you, and cast them out of your sight, and ye shall possess their land, as the Lord your God hath said unto you.
6 Be ye therefore of a valiant courage to observe and do all that is written in the book of the Law of Moses, (A)that ye turn not there from to the right hand nor to the left,
7 Neither company with these nations: that is, with them that are [b]left with you, neither (B)make mention of the name of their gods, [c]nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow unto them:

New International Version
5 The Lord your God himself will push them out(A) for your sake. He will drive them out(B) before you, and you will take possession of their land, as the Lord your God promised you.(C)
6 “Be very strong; be careful to obey all that is written in the Book of the Law(D) of Moses, without turning aside(E) to the right or to the left.(F) 7 Do not associate with these nations that remain among you; do not invoke the names of their gods or swear(G) by them. You must not serve them or bow down(H) to them.
