56 Abraham your father rejoiced-greatly to see My day. And he saw it, and was glad”.

  2. John 8:58 Jesus is claiming to preexist Abraham, and therefore unlike v 24 and 28, His meaning is clear to them: He is claiming to be God, as in Ex 3:14; Isa 41:4; 43:10; 48:12, etc.
