¹⁶ Out of his fullness^(A) we have all received grace^(B) in place of grace already given. ¹⁷ For the law was given through Moses;^(C) grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.^(D)

⁴ You, dear children,^(A) are from God and have overcome them,^(B) because the one who is in you^(C) is greater than the one who is in the world.^(D)
