John 7:30-32
Revised Standard Version
30 So they sought to arrest him; but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come. 31 Yet many of the people believed in him; they said, “When the Christ appears, will he do more signs than this man has done?”

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd thus muttering about him, and the chief priests and Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.

30 At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him,(A) because his hour had not yet come.(B) 31 Still, many in the crowd believed in him.(C) They said, “When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs(D) than this man?”
32 The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about him. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him.
