³⁴ I don’t receive man’s testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved.

³⁷ The Father who sent Me has Himself testified^(A) about Me. You have not heard His voice at any time, and you haven’t seen His form.^(B)

¹⁴ “Even if I testify about Myself,” Jesus replied, “My testimony is valid,^[a] because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.^{(A) 15} You judge^(B) by human standards.^[b](C) I judge no one.^{(D) 16} And if I do judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me judge^(E) together.^{(F) 17} Even in your law it is written that the witness of two men is valid.^{(G) 18} I am the One who testifies^(H) about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”

³² Look: An hour is coming, and has come,^(A) when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave Me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.^(B)

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been among you all this time without your knowing Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father.^(A) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

¹⁶ After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water. The heavens^(A) suddenly opened for Him,^[a] and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him.^{(B) 17} And there came a voice from heaven:

Then a voice^(B) came from heaven:^(C) “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!”^(D)
