25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, (A)an hour is coming, and is now here, when (B)the dead will hear (C)the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear (D)will live. 26 (E)For as the Father has life in himself, (F)so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he (G)has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for (H)an hour is coming when (I)all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, (J)those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

30 (K)“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and (L)my judgment is just, because (M)I seek not my own will (N)but the will of him who sent me. 31 (O)If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not true. 32 There is (P)another who bears witness about me, and (Q)I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true. 33 (R)You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.

25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come(A) when the dead will hear(B) the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life(C) in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge(D) because he is the Son of Man.
28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming(E) when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.(F) 30 By myself I can do nothing;(G) I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just,(H) for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.(I)

31 “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.(J) 32 There is another who testifies in my favor,(K) and I know that his testimony about me is true.
33 “You have sent to John and he has testified(L) to the truth.
