²³ But ^[a](A)a time is coming, and ^[b]even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father ^(B)in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be ^[c]His worshipers. ²⁴ God is ^[d]spirit, and those who worship Him must worship ^(C)in spirit and truth.”

⁶ For God, who said, “^(A)Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has ^(B)shone in our hearts to give the ^(C)Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
