3 (A)So Peter and the other disciple left, and they were going to the tomb. 4 The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead, faster than Peter, and came to the tomb first; 5 and he (B)stooped to look in, and *saw the (C)linen wrappings lying there; however he did not go in. 6 So Simon Peter also *came, following him, and he entered the tomb; and he *looked at the linen wrappings lying there, 7 and (D)the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the (E)linen wrappings but folded up in a place by itself.

New International Version
3 So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.(A) 4 Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in(B) at the strips of linen(C) lying there but did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, 7 as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head.(D) The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen.
