³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced^(A) His side^(B) with a spear, and at once blood and water^(C) came out.

²⁰ In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant^(A) established by My blood;^(B) it is shed for you.^[a]

⁹ Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood,^(A) we will be saved through Him from wrath.^(B)

²⁴ gave thanks, broke it, and said,^[a] “This is My body, which is^[b] for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”^(A)

²⁵ In the same way, after supper He also took the cup and said, “This cup is the new covenant^(B) established by My blood.^(C) Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” ²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death^(D) until He comes.^(E)
