Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew (A)the place, for (B)Jesus often met there with his disciples. (C)So Judas, having procured a band of soldiers and some officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches and weapons. Then Jesus, (D)knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them, (E)“Whom do you seek?” They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.”[a] Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him,(D) went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”(E)

“Jesus of Nazareth,”(F) they replied.

“I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.)
