¹² This is My command: Love one another as I have loved^(A) you.

Warning against Divisive People

¹⁷ Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause dissensions and obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have learned.^(A) Avoid them,^(B)

¹¹ If any place does not welcome^(A) you and people refuse to listen to you, when you leave there, shake the dust off your feet^(B) as a testimony^(C) against them.”^[a]

¹⁵ “Beware of false prophets^(A) who come to you in sheep’s^(B) clothing^(C) but inwardly are ravaging wolves.^(D)

⁸ But even if we or an angel^(A) from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than what we have preached to you,^(B) a curse be on him!^{[a] 9} As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received,^(C) a curse be on him!

⁶ But now Timothy has come to us^(A) from you and brought us good news about your faith and love and reported that you always have good memories of us, wanting to see us, as we also want to see you.^(B)
