8 (A)Philip *said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus *said to him, “Have I been with [a]you for so long a time, and yet [b]you have not come to know Me, Philip? (B)The one who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (C)I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? (D)The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own, but the Father, as He remains in Me, does His works.

8 Philip(A) said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.(B) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?(C) The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.(D) Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
