7 (A)If you had known me, you would have (B)known my Father also.[a] From now on you do know him and (C)have seen him.”
8 (D)Philip said to him, “Lord, (E)show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? (F)Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (G)I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you (H)I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.

9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.(C) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?(D) The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.(E) Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
