John 12:37-41
American Standard Version
37 But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake,
[a]Lord, who hath believed our report?
And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 For this cause they could not believe, for that Isaiah said again,
40 [b]He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart;
Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart,
And should turn,
And I should heal them.
41 These things said Isaiah, because he saw his glory; and he spake of him.

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” 39 For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again, 40 “(B)He has blinded their eyes and He (C)hardened their heart, so that they will not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and [b]be converted, and so I will not heal them.” 41 These things Isaiah said because (D)he saw His glory, and (E)he spoke about Him.

(B)“Lord, who has believed what he heard from us,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39 Therefore they (C)could not believe. For again Isaiah said,
40 (D)“He has blinded their eyes
and (E)hardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”
41 Isaiah said these things because (F)he saw his glory and (G)spoke of him.

38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, `Lord, who gave credence to our report? and the arm of the Lord -- to whom was it revealed?'
39 Because of this they were not able to believe, that again Isaiah said,
40 `He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart, that they might not see with the eyes, and understand with the heart, and turn back, and I might heal them;'
41 these things said Isaiah, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
